After hosting their own wedding at the finished barn in 2014, guests began asking when they might have their event at the Snyder’s barn. Matt and Stefanie got to thinking (and planning) for just about the most perfect rustic wedding and event venue you could imagine. Picture this: bucolic, sun-drenched, rolling hillsides stretching out against the expansive backdrop of the forested Laurel Highlands while you and your family (or up to 300 of your friends) picnic, dine, celebrate and breathe in the mountain air.
We’d always wanted to celebrate our wedding at a place we could call our own. So, after several years of planning and a lot of hard work, Laurel Hideaway officially opened for business when we said our marriage vows on May 24th, 2014. Our special place is your special place.

The Snyders have outfitted their barn with everything needed for perfectly executed events, and their almost year-long waiting list indicates that others agree.
A simple, rustic identity was created while we worked together on an elegant brochure website to showcase the venue, its amenities and the beautiful surroundings of it’s location in the heart of the picturesque southwest Pennsylvania Laurel Highlands.
